The Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District will be hosting a community office hour session about the San Anselmo Creek Building Bridge 2 (BB2) on April 15, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the San Anselmo Town Council Chambers, located at 525 San Anselmo Avenue.

During this drop-in meeting, you will have the opportunity to connect with District staff to get an overview of project status, learn more about specific project aspects, and ask questions.

The removal of Building Bridge 2 is Phase One of the Reimagine Creek Park Project and San Anselmo Flood Risk Reduction Project. The project represents a coordinated, regional effort to reduce the risk of flooding and improve public safety in the event of a major storm.  In addition, removal of the bridge will help lay the groundwork for restoring Creek Park Plaza into a vibrant community gathering place.

In addition, the project’s Frequently Asked Questions have been recently updated, with more Q&A material to be added to the project website during the week of April 15.

For disability accommodations please call (415) 473-6530 (Voice), CA Relay 711, or e-mail the Department of Public Works at least five days in advance of the event. The County will do its best to fulfill requests received with less than five business days’ notice. Copies of documents are available in alternative formats, upon request.
